moonchild: The Usual Florida things pt 2

My time in Florida has been so therapeutic for me in so many ways. It is also nice because I have actually been getting along with my family this time, no fights! In my household this is rare ;)

1.) Family time // Aubrie

Family is super important to me and I have been putting a lot of effort in to stay in contact and have actual deep relationships with my family, especially my cousins.

I got to spend some great quality time with my two favorite cousins, Aubrie and Cameron. I just the Campbell's in general ( My moms sisters family)! I could go on and on about how fantastic they are but you get the point of it- they mean a lot to me.

I went for sushi, sake, and karaoke with Aubrie! We had a blast. How can you have a bad night when you get to bond with your mentor of a cousin and eat sushi?

We sang our hearts out at karaoke- it was strange for me to see this side of my cousin Aubrie. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

2.) Yard work//

I decided yesterday that while Eva, my mom, and my sister had to go back to the grind of life that I would go over to Aubrie's house where her two kids, husband, and Cameron live.

I drank espresso that was beautiful crafted by cam cam

I then for the first time ever mowed the lawn! All on my own! It was therapeutic and I actually loved doing it! The garden/yard at Aubrie's house is insane! My Uncle has been crafting is for over 30 years. It looks like a magical jungle! So after mowing the law I helped trim the bushes, rack, weed, and detail the yard! It was hard work, but satisfying work! I think I have found a new hobby!

They then made me some homemade margaritas and the most incredible vegan curry tacos!

3.) Family time // Cameron

Then Cameron claimed me for a night of her own. We had a very chill night out. We went to a few different bars, stuck to only tequila based drinks, and we were joined by Cameron's best high school friend.

We spent the night smoking weed publicly, telling secrets, and being happy. I learned and heard a lot about Cameron and her life. I loved every moment of it. Before I knew it I was drunk and heading home.
